Project Brief

With the expansion and development of Cambridge’s Science & Innovation district, a new rail link was needed to reduce the commuting across the city.

In August 2016 we were asked to tender for VolkerFitzpatrick who are currently constructing the new station on the site of Chesterton Sidings. We submitted a competitive tender and were awarded the contract in October 2016, starting on site early November.

The project is complex but not out of our skill set and we are looking forward to seeing the finished article.

Cambridge North is now open, the first train left the station on Sunday 21st May 2017
