Herring Bridge, Gt. Yarmouth

Project Brief

The Great Yarmouth Third River Crossing (Herring Bridge) links the A47 at Harfrey’s roundabout to the port and the enterprise zone via South Denes Road on the other side of the River Yare. The new bridge has eased traffic congestion on the town’s roads, shortened journey times and improved journey reliability and will support wider plans to maximise investment, regeneration and economic growth opportunities across the town and wider borough.
The bridge was fully opened to road traffic on Thursday 1 February 2024

We’re proud to play a part in shaping one of Yarmouth’s most exciting infrastructure projects and as a trusted landscaping partner, we’re helping transform the surrounding environment into a vibrant, accessible, and sustainable green space that connects neighbourhoods and enhances community life.

From native plantings to trailscapes and public spaces, our work ensures that the beauty of the natural landscape is preserved and celebrated. Every detail reflects our commitment to eco-conscious design, long-term durability, and the people who will enjoy these spaces for generations to come.
