Landscape Operative

Salary: £25,737 per year + price work & Bonuses
(based on 18 years and older working 47.5 hours per week)
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Landscape Operative to join our team. As a Landscape Operative, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of a range of outdoor spaces, including public areas, commercal developments and construction projects.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake a range of gardening and landscaping tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, and lawn care
- Operate a range of equipment such as mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters
- Assist with the installation of soft landscaping such as plants & turf and on going maintenance
- Monitor plant health and report any issues
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and on schedule
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times
Key Requirements:
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to work well in a team and independently as required
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is essential
- CSCS card would be beneficial
- Agree to DBS & security checks
